Strawberry Tree

The glass vessels for this piece were given to me by interior designer Dorota Konopata; at the time she suggested I create an exhibit for the open class competition at Canada Blooms 1999. The sculpture received excellent reviews and a prize as well. I like to think of this piece as interactive sculpture, as the overall look can be changed by the type of plants or flowers in the vessels, be they dried or fresh. On its own, vessels empty it still stand as a simple, thought-provoked sculpture.
